C.N.A. Mentor Training Program

In October 2005, Even Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush, CO, received a $500 seed grant to help pay for their C.N.A. (Certified Nursing Assistant) Mentor Program. The program aims to train long-term care workers to become mentors by teaching communication styles, adult learning techniques, and behavior management. The trainees benefit from this training in several ways; they are able to learn new skills and receive professional growth training, as well as increase their responsibilities and self confidence. For more information on this training program, please contact Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center at (800) 410-4170, or visit their website, www.ebenezer-cares.org.
