Colorado Rural Health Center receives SORH grant!
This year, and every year since 1991, the Colorado Rural Health Center (CRHC) has received the State Office of Rural Health grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). Every state has a State Office of Rural Health, but Colorado is one of only three states with a non-profit office. Performance Leadership Academy
Western Healthcare Alliance and The Advisory Board Company from Washington, D.C. are teaming up to offer Colorado healthcare organizations the Performance Leadership Academy in Denver at the new Children’s Hospital Campus. The academies will be offered in October 2008, February 2009, and May 2009. Please click here for more information.

Colorado Rural Health Care Grant Program
What If? Colorado
A campaign begun by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment's Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response, "What If? Colorado" aims to empower citizens to take charge of their own preparedness. The campaign encourages citizens to get flu shots, develop emergency kits, become informed, and educate themselves on the difference kids of influenza. More information is available by clicking here. Angel Flight West
Angel Flight West provides free, non-emergency air transportation to rural communities. This is a valuable service for rural community members who need to travel to metropolitan areas for doctor's appointments, procedures, surgery, and other healthcare needs.
