Rural communities in Colorado have accomplished a myriad of successful healthcare
projects. The Colorado Rural Health Center, in partnership with the Governor's
Office, has created a new program called SHARE - Sharing Healthcare Accomplishments
in Rural Environments - to acknowledge and promote these rural health success
stories. A report is available that describes a few of these wonderful
projects. Other stories are highlighted in this website, which is searchable
by county, healthcare category, or specific keyword.
We are continuing to look for a variety of rural health stories -
big successes and small - from all areas, agencies, and health arenas. If you have a
story to tell or even just a lead we can follow up on, we want to hear from you!
