Web Information on Critical Access Hospitals

  • Rural Policy Research Institute (RUPRI) - The Rural Policy Research Institute (RUPRI) conducts policy-relevant research and facilitates public dialogue to assist policymakers in understanding the rural impacts of public policies and programs.
  • The Health Resources and Service Administration (HRSA) is currently funding an evaluation of the CAH program on a national level through the FLEX Monitoring Team.

  • Rural Information Center (RIC) - The Rural Information Center (RIC) provides information and referral services for rural communities, officials, organizations and citizens. It provides customized information products to specific inquiries including assistance in economic revitalization issues; local government planning projects; funding sources; technical assistance programs; research studies; and other related issues.

  • National Rural Health Association (NRHA) - The National Rural Health Association is a national membership organization whose mission is to improve the health and healthcare of rural Americans and to provide leadership on rural issues through advocacy, communications, education and research. The NRHA is a non-profit association headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, with a government affairs office in Washington, D.C.

  • Rural Assistance Center (RAC) - The Rural Assistance Center is a national resource on rural health and human services information. Our information specialists are available to provide customized assistance, such as web and database searches on rural topics and funding resources, linking users to organizations, and furnishing relevant publications from the RAC resource library.
