Colorado Rural Mobile Health Project (CRMHP)

The University of Colorado School of Dentistry proposed to purchase a 3-chair, self-contained mobile dental clinic to staff with dental students and serve rural and underserved children. The unit was to be purchased to begin operations in January 2007 as part of the Colorado SmileMakers program.

The School of Dentistry intends to provide a broad scope of services focusing on oral health screenings, preventive services, and disease control.

The funds provided with the CRMHP grant were to provide services in Eagle County in September 2007 and in northeastern Colorado in the summer of 2007.

The School of Dentistry received $117,000.00.
