Family Medical Services, the new clinic in Las Animas, CO, received $500 in Seed Grant funds in March, 2005. With the help of the grant, and other community donations, the clinic purchased a pediatric exam table, “Pete’s Pickup,” to help make visits to the doctor’s a little more fun, and a little less scary. Family Medical Services provides services that benefit all community members and save them from traveling over 20 miles for appointments.
