The information included on the profiles was collected from various sources:
hospital administrators, the Colorado Health & Hospital Association,
hospital web sites, and CRHC files. Below the map are links to hospital websites. Also, please see additional notes on the CAH Profile process listed at the bottom of the page.
Notes on CAH Profiles
In order to evaluate the financial impact of the CAH program, information
was gathered for eight facilities that have been operating as Critical
Access Hospitals for at least two years. The information was obtained
from the Colorado Health & Hospital Association's DATABANK® system.
The average for these eight hospitals is included on each profile. For
these eight hospitals additional financial information such as length
of stay, payroll, and number of full time equivalents is also noted.
